Field
2 - Base Date of Data
The Base Date of Data should be in the format DDMMYYYY.
The Base date of data field for those agencies who submit MOHRI data
for EEO reporting purposes will default to 30 June of the reporting
year.
For all other agencies, this date should be the date at which the data
is extracted. Agencies should make all attempts to ensure that the
data is extracted as at 30 June of the reporting year. If this is not
possible, agencies should select a date as close to 30 June as possible.
This date will be used as a reference for data validations, and will
also be used (in conjunction with the date of birth), to calculate
the age of employees within the agency.
-
Field
4 - Date of Birth
Date of birth should be in the format DDMMYYYY.
Employees must be at least 14 years of age at the date of reporting.
Any employees who are less than 14 will fail validation.
Employees who are greater than 80 years of age will appear as a warning
on the validation report. Agencies are asked to double-check the date
of birth of these employees to ensure that they are correct.

Australian Standard Classification of Occupation (ASCO) is a skill-based
classification which encompasses all occupations in the Australian
workforce. In ASCO, occupations are classified according to two main
criteria - skill level and skill specialisation.

used in all Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) censuses and surveys
where occupation data are collected.
The valid codes for field 9 - ASCO code - are as follows:
| Code |
Description |
| 1 |
Managers and Administrators |
| 2 |

Field
10 - Salary Code
The annual salary of an employee should be calculated based on full-time
hours, even if that employee works on a part-time basis. Salary level
should be indicative of an employee's level of base salary, rather
than the amount they actually receive over the year.
For example, if an employee is an AO6 increment 1, and works full-time
they would receive an annual salary of $72,515 and be coded as salary
level 6. If that same employee works only three days per week, they
would receive only $43,509 annually. If they were coded based on actual
salary (as opposed to full-time salary), they would be coded as salary
level 2. This is not indicative of their seniority, responsibility
or their true level of pay.
Salary levels are base on AO equivalents in core government agencies.
The ranges for each salary code are as follows:
Salaries for June 2009
(from 01/07/2008) |
| Salary Code |
Salary Range |
| 1 |
$0 - $31,810 |
| 2 |
$31,811 - $44,263 |
| 3 |
$44,264 - $52,570 |
| 4 |
$52,571 - $61,153 |
| 5 |
$61,154 - $68,714 |
| 6 |
$68,715 - $77,605 |
| 7 |
$77,606 - $87,026 |
| 8 |
$87,027 - $95,103 |
| 9 |

Note that these ranges are adjusted in line with State Government Departments
Certified Agreement increases. You should use the salary range that
is current at the reporting date.
For current salary ranges, please check the Department
of Employment and Industrial Relations web site, or contact the
PSC on (07) 3224 5999 or email mohri.administrator@opsc.qld.gov.au.
