Inspiring Women

The Public Service Commission (PSC) is committed to supporting women in the Queensland public sector workforce.

Mentoring program for women

The PSC is coordinating an exciting program to support women with their personal and professional development. This simple, low cost and convenient program offers an excellent developmental opportunity for women in the AO3 to AO7 or equivalent level positions. Women of any level may nominate.

Developing leadership skills in women has a range of benefits for employees and organisations. It allows both regional and urban employees to be inspired by hearing about the life and work experiences of high-profile figures.

Inaugural launch held

More than 400 women from across Queensland government gathered at the Brisbane Convention Centre in September to launch the ‘Inspiring Women’ program. Nearly 40% of the pilot program’s participants are from outside of Brisbane. To view the Launch videos, visit our Corporate Publications page.
