Public service agencies and the Public Service Commission (PSC) are partnering in the renewed approach to public service leadership.

The PSC supports the development of leadership and capability across the service in a number of ways, including:

Australia and New Zealand  School of Government (ANZSOG)

• ANZSOG is a world-leading educational institution that teaches strategic management and high-level policy to public sector leaders.

Inspiring Women

• Whole of Government mentoring program for women – this exciting program is aimed at supporting women to develop their careers and empower their lives within the QPS.

Practical People Management (PPM) Program

• The Practical People Management Program provides managers and supervisors in the QPS with practical skills to manage people effectively.

Public Sector Management (PSM) Program

• The Public Sector Management Program is a leadership and management education program for Australia’s public sector senior and middle managers and emerging leaders.

SES induction

• The SES Induction provides information and support for newly appointed SES officers.
