Directives

Directives detail mandatory principles that Queensland Government departments are to adhere to.

Chief Executives have the discretion to determine how best to meet these mandatory principles, enabling them to develop departmental procedures that suit their individual business and service delivery needs.

Directives are issued under sections 53 and 54 of the Public Service Act 2008 (the Act).
