Indigenous initiatives

The Public Service Commission, in partnership with the Department of Employment, Economic Development and Innovation and the Department of Communities is working across all government portfolios to address the issue of attraction and retention of Indigenous government employees.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are a significant and important population within Queensland and the issues impacting on gaining better employment and training outcomes of Indigenous Queenslanders are complex and dynamic.
