The Public Service Commission (PSC) is managing a centralised process to identify suitable available permanent roles for surplus employees. Every effort will be made to identify an alternate suitable role for any surplus employee who wishes to continue to work for the Queensland Government.
Commencing 2 July 2012, agencies will refer all permanent non-frontline vacancies to the PSC, for matching against Employees Requiring Placement (ERP). No action to fill these permanent vacancies may proceed without consideration of the placement of a suitable ERP.
If you have enquiries about your agency’s implementation of this program, please contact your agency’s human resource area or nominated agency ERP contact.
If you are unsure of your agency’s ERP contact officer/s, please call the PSC Advisory Service on 1300 038 472 or email pscenquiries@psc.qld.gov.au.
The PSC will continue to provide Directors-General with central agency direction and support, to ensure that efficient and effective service delivery remains at the heart of the Queensland public sector.
