Who we are

The Public Service Commission is the central Queensland Government agency responsible for monitoring and engaging the public sector.

What we do

The PSC enables and empowers public sector agencies to achieve government policy objectives through contemporary organisational and workforce frameworks and standards to which decision-makers are held to account.

About the Public Sector

The Queensland public sector comprises more than 267 000 people (as at June 30, 2012) employed in 20 government departments, 13 government-owned corporations and many other government entities.
